Join us May 7th – 14th, in the tropical Nananu-I-Ra Island, about 3km off the coast of mainland Fiji. Over the course of 1 week we will breakdown and learn to flow the Budokon primary series.
The BUDOKON® YOGA style is best described as a transition based hatha Yoga flow with continuous circular rotation. Our Yoga style honors its traditional roots of Hatha (posture based) Yoga while bringing a completely unique Martial Arts circular influence. This flow was created by Hatha Yoga Master and Martial Arts Grandmaster Kancho Cameron Shayne.

Safari Lodge lies on a pristine beach front of the remote Nananu-I-Ra Island within the South Pacific Ocean. The islands tropical waters provide perfect conditions for our Budokon retreat. Safari lodge caters to a wide range of adventure activities such as snorkeling, water skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, boat trips to the outer reef, Stand Up Paddling (SUP). Free time will be offered daily.
Additional activities such as scuba diving, windsurfing and kitesurfing, lessons with qualified instructors are available and can be arranged at an extra cost.

As a kid Daniel was always outside climbing trees, playing sports, riding his bike or just being outside with friends. This active lifestyle and love for fitness turned into years of martial arts including tae kwon do, boxing and kick boxing. As well as a passion for physical fitness Daniel also has a passion for board sports including surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding and snowboarding. After discovering yoga 7 years ago, Daniel realised that all these things had one thing in common – awareness. Yoga not only enhanced his physical awareness, but also the awareness of breath, consciousness and focus. Daniel believes that all success in any field comes from a state of focus and presence.
Daniel is experienced in a range of different Yoga styles including Power Vinyasa, Alignment, Yin, ACROVINYASA™, SUP Yoga (stand up paddleboard yoga), Partner Yoga and even Aerial Silk. He completed the 200hr teacher training course with Power Living in 2012 and since then has been teaching classes and workshops at studios and running retreats along the east coast of Australia, Bali and Fiji before finding his solid grounding as a teacher and general manager at YB School in Sydney. Daniel’s yoga specialty would have to be arm balances and inversions so during Dan’s classes don’t be surprised to find yourself upside-down getting a fresh perspective on life.
