Spiritual retreat in an idyllic location embedded in the Atlantic Forest of Paraty (RJ, Brazil), 19-29 August (10 nights), price including accommodation and all meals, 5 ceremonies with Ayahuasca (and other sacred plants) with an indigenous curandeiro (healer) from the mountains of Argentina, as well as various therapeutic and other complementary activities such as yoga. Please note that the curandeiro speaks only Spanish and Portuguese, but various participants and assistants speak English.
If you feel the call of Mother Aya, you are invited to a shamanic retreat, a circle of healing that has the goal of amplifying your consciousness so as to discover your inner shaman. This is an invite to enable people to meet their own inner darkness, and to heal their relationships with love and respect, and in doing so honour life.
This is a once-off non-profit event. The guest house is called Vila Volta and offers a very comfortable experience to guests, rooms being shared (max 4) but en suite. It is located in a truly beautiful forest clad valley about 12 km from Paraty centre (a popular tourist destination only a few hours from both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo). On the property there is a natural swimming pool and a sauna. Tasty vegetarian and Ayahuasca-friendly food will be prepared by a talented Italian chef, whilst the gastronomically minded guesthouse host will also be contributing to delicious breaksfasts.
The shamanic ceremonies will include the guided use of Ayahuasca, Sananga, rapé, and tobacco (both pipe and tea), as well as shamanic healing. Complementary activities will include yoga, meditation and respiration exercises, flower baths, access to art materials, and also various workshops such as power animal and sensuality. Weather-permitting there will be an excursion on one day hiking through the Atlantic forest to a beautiful beach.
The shaman is a curandeiro from Argentina, indigenous to the Diaquita, called Nĩino Cunii. Coming from a line of 'curandeiros' he is well acquainted in the use of the sacred plants from his homelands, as well as Ayahuasca, for which he studied under a master in Peru. He usually operates in Buenos Aires, but also frequently travels on healing missions to countries such as Brazil and Chile. He is travelling from Argentina especially for the retreat. We also have an additional guest shaman who is normally based in São Paulo, who will assist in facilitating ceremonies and accompany participants in their healing process.
Inlcuding all organisers and volunteers, the maximum number of people at the retreat will be be 23. Transport is not included, but for a small extra fee we can collect people from Paraty.
With love, peace and humility to all.
