Villa XochipilliVilla Xochipilli is a private, quiet villa on three and a half acres of land which opened up its guests house 4 years ago. Villa Xochipilli was designed for vacationers who are looking for relaxation in a tropical off the beaten path setting for bird watchers who are interested in observing tropical birds and its fantastic wild life in the Pacific coastal area of Mexico as well as for those who enjoy exotic tropical gardens.
There are five furnished bungalows available. Four of the bungalows are set up in much the same way: a bedroom with two full size beds, a full bathroom with hot shower, a living area with a day bed for a third person, a fully equipped kitchenette and a dining area. These four bungalows are in one building, two on the second floor and two on the bottom floor. The upstairs bungalows open up into balconies overlooking magnificent vistas of lush tropical gardens, the “Laguna del Tule” and the quiet grounds of Villa Xochipilli. The two bottom bungalows open directly into the exotic garden gardens, bringing you one step closer to nature. See more events in this venue

: Carla Wainwright
I started practicing yoga in 1996, the original motivation — to touch my toes! I had no idea the journey I was beginning to undertake would be so profound and transformational. Seventeen years later, I can touch my toes, and along the way I discovered that my talent and my passion has become helping others nourish their unique journey toward self discovery.
While most of my retreats and offerings are open to all, I am particularly passionate about helping women explore the divine feminine and embrace their indwelling power, the Shakti nature within. This work entails going deep, uncovering blocks, becoming embodied, balanced and strong on all levels, ultimately, becoming comfortable with feminine creativity, sexuality and personal power. As I continue the personal practice of embracing Shakti, I experience my evolution forward into myself. An increasingly empowering and liberating experience, I can’t help but feel compelled to help others experience this for themselves.
Yoga is an ancient and timeless art, science, and philosophy that emphasizes awareness, integrity, and compassion. The practice of yoga helps anyone to gain good health, mental peace, emotional equanimity and intellectual clarity. As a yoga teacher I honour the ancient traditions while embracing our contemporary evolution forward. My desire to is enable students to find true pleasure in their practice, on and off the mat and to use the power of the practice to heal, transform and awaken to a life of freedom.
