In the fast paced life of the 21st century, we have started living in the world of instant gratification. In this endeavor we forget where we are and what we actually need.
We are engrossed in endless work, traffic jams, deadlines, eating on the run, problems at home, bills to pay, job changes, chores and errands
- Demands, demands, and more demands…. leading us to stress and depleting our coping resources.
This out of balance scale is distorting our ideas and attitudes towards ourselves and others..…To the extent of leading to disharmony with our own selves and the environment. Giving rise to various physical and psychological problems on a daily basis; which we are unaware of.
It is important to maintain a balance between our mind, body and soul, to have a total harmony within ourselves and around us.
It is a well researched and an established fact that yoga plays a vital role in raising one’s life condition by inculcating spiritual values.
To achieve this Yoga counts has taken a holistic approach towards improving one’s spiritual life conditions.
STEP – 1: Pre assessment questionnaire and distribution of instruction manual.
Based on the assessment, problems would be identified and participants’ groups formed accordingly.
STEP – 2: Therapeutic yoga:
Asanas (exercises/stretching) and Pranayama (breathing techniques) taught separately to individual groups/ according to the problems identified.
