MODULE A. Traditional Chinese Medicine.
TCM in essence seeks to understand and facilitate harmony in human life. It is based on a very simple principle: any system that is in harmony tends towards health, wellbeing and sustainability. A system that is in disharmony tends towards illness, disease, suffering and collapse.
In Chinese medicine it is believed that energy (Qi)travels through the waterways of the connective tissue in our body.
In Yin Yoga we directly target the connection tissue.
In Part A of the Himalayan Yin Yoga we examine the 5 maps of Chinese Medicine – The Five Elements, Vital Substances, The TCM Organ System, The Meridian System and TCM Pathogenesis.
