Elohee – retreat. renew. remember.
Elohee is a retreat center located in the heart of 200 wooded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Currently, we rent our facilities to teachers offering courses in meditation, yoga, art, dance, and other methods for personal growth. We are also in the process of creating our own curriculum which will draw directly upon the power of nature to facilitate our Forest Therapy, Cancer Support, Trauma Recovery, and Mindful Leadership Programs. Elohee is a place for transformation - individual and community.See more events in this venue
We’ve all heard of New Years’ Resolutions, and we’ve probably even set a few ourselves, only to have them dissolve within a month or two.
Setting INTENTION is a different process.
One of the oldest writings on Yoga, the Upanishads says, “You are what your deepest desire is. As your desire is, so is your intention. As your intention is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.” An intention is a directed form of consciousness that contains the seed of what you wish to create. Like seeds, intentions need to be planted in the depths of consciousness, fertilized with deep awareness and cultivated with daily practice to come to fruition. Join Sheila McVay, yoga teacher and owner of Johns Creek Yoga, for a full day of discerning your deepest intention and harnessing its power to create a richer, more fulfilling life and a more direct relationship to your truest Self.
Your day will include:
- Morning Yoga
- Guided Practices to Discern Intention
- Vegetarian Lunch
- Time to Journal and Hike on the beautiful grounds of Elohee
- Intention Setting Ceremony
- Afternoon Yoga and Meditation
Program begins at 9am and ends at 6 pm
Cost $120 per person
