Spirit Mountain Retreat
Nestled among the fragrant western cedar, pine, and oak forest of Idyllwild, California, is Spirit Mountain Retreat, a special place for people seeking to awaken to the deepest sense of who they are and the Great Work of our time.
Spirit Mountain Retreat is open year round for individual, couple, and small group retreats, programs, and sabbaticals. The Center has six private bedrooms. The meeting space, adjoining the Hill House, accommodates up to 15 individuals for a one day retreat program.
Spirit Mountain Retreat, a non-denominational spirituality/meditation center is located in Idyllwild, Ca. Our center is nestled in the majestic San Jacinto Mountains within the San Bernardino National Forest. This area is sacred land to the Cahuilla People who once lived here and it continues to carry this energy today.
Our mission is to create a space for you to enter into quiet reflection, awaken to your inner story and attune to your life energy.See more events in this venue
Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is the conscious choice not to suffer ongoing injury from something that happened in the past. The purpose of forgiveness is to clear one’s own heart, not to condone or forget wrongdoing. The life-affirming release from resentment, anger, blame and sorrow benefits not only oneself but ultimately all other beings. In this sequel to September’s retreat, we will focus on putting principles into practice by deconstructing long-held grievances and avoiding the creation of new ones. Attendance at the previous retreat is not a prerequisite. Suggested reading: Forgive For Good by Dr. Fred Luskin
