More About This Thai Yoga Certification Experience:
Come join us for a transformational weekend at Fulton Yoga Collective. Thai Yoga Medicine is becoming a highly sought-after form of treatment by the highest echelons of the rich and famous throughout the world. You will find these techniques both very practical to the physiology, as well as engaging energetically and spiritually.
This type of Bodywork is also increasing in demand in Corporate & Clinical settings, Health/Yoga Retreats, Health Spas, Gyms, and Sports Events. Thai Yoga complements and can be used in conjunction with a variety of other Bodywork modalities and forms of Yoga. Suzy Corgiat uses these techniques directly with Fresno State Athletes, as an integral part of their Sports Medicine program. Bodyworkers of all kinds can learn how to implement these techniques, as a complement to the rest of their practice.
If you are new to Bodywork in general, you will gain both the confidence and competence to compassionately give a 45-60 minute session to those you care about. This immersive Training and Certification focuses on the dynamic flow of gentle yet highly effective movements, that are easily initiated through precise body mechanics.
All SomaVeda® Trainings led by Suzy Corgiat are part of ONACS, and all participants become Certified Members of ONACS. You will also be asked to sign a standard waiver/liability agreement to participate.

Khruu Suzy Corgiat
Suzy has been contracted with Fresno State Sports Medicine for over 2 years, utilizing Thai Yoga techniques on the school's wide array of athletes. She has been leading student talks and workshops with Fresno State's student Athletic Trainers. Suzy has also had the privilege to work on celebrities like Joe Panik of the San Francisco Giants and Paul McCartney's Family when he was touring through Fresno at the Savemart Center.
Suzy has recently moved back home to California from Alabama and Florida and she is very excited to share her new education with everyone. She was first a licensed Massage Therapist in Alabama and then over the past 3 years acquired over 1000 hours of training in Integrated Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy from Dr. Anthony James of the SomaVeda Institute in Brooksville, FL. She plans on attending the school through 5000 hours to acquire her doctorate in Natural Medicine. She offers Thai Yoga bodywork, nutritional advice, BET tapping techniques for emotional issues, Ayurvedic assessment for dosha balancing and she is a certified Reiki Master.
From Suzy: I decided that this form of therapy was more effective in helping people long term because of how it helped me. I received the bodywork for 2 weeks straight as I was learning it and all the chronic pain I had been enduring for several years was completely gone. I finally understood that pain felt in one area would not be fixed for good simply by doing soft tissue manipulation (Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular techniques) on the effected area. Especially when dealing with the shoulders, neck and back, the system of alignment must be trained to stay in the perfect spot, rather than "rubbed." More importantly, this elegant system has shown me how to live my life more mindfully and with self-love. I used to struggle with that so desperately and sadly, but now I see no end to my progress. I keep rising, I feel better, people tell me how much better I look and my confidence is growing.
My goal is to help as many people as possible as much as these therapies have helped me: the most effective way to do that is through SomaVeda's highly sophisticated "Therapeutic Day" program. This is my chance to offer you real world-class bodywork and therapy. See more photos and other events by this presenter
