DescriptionMusic, Dance, and Meditation in the heart of the desert
"Metsukay Dragot" Resort Village, the Dead Sea
Nataraj is now celebrating its 15th year! We invite you to join us for 3 days and two nights of music, dance and meditation. The festival features the best range of spiritual, healing and self development teachers along with the intense music and dance celebrations Nataraj is known for.
All of this in an intimate family atmosphere against the backdrop of the stunning nature of the :
"Metsukay Dragot" resort village – a desert oasis overlooking the Dead Sea.
The meaning of the name Nataraj in Sanskrit is "King of Dance". We believe that dancing is living, and through using our body we can reach levels of deep meditations and ecstasy! When we dance, our energy is often directed outward, but if we channel it inwards, we can experience pleasure from the life energy flowing through our body in a harmonic and most wonderful way. Therefore, the Nataraj festival combines intense dance and celebration along with in-depth workshops which together allow us to experience the freedom in ourselves.
To reach this goal of this year's theme of "Home Sweet Home" we have invested in a content rich filled program, in order to help you join us on the journey
The festival will contain 11 different tracks led by some of the best teachers from Israel and around the world. This is a unique opportunity to experience and re-experience a wide range of sessions including: dance and movement, dynamic meditations, silent meditations, Zen Buddhism, yoga, drama, prophecy, nutrition, and more.
As always, the most popular place to chill out, the 'Chai shop' will be open round the clock and is the place to meet new and old friends, while sipping Chai or eating from the tasty vegetarian menu.
In addition the festival will host an alternative therapy area with a variety of treatments, with profits going to charity. this year is the second year the profits will go to "Ruach Gabit" Association. The idea behind the organization is to bring a different alternative activities for people with special needs.
