The One Yoga Teacher Training is a one-month immersion followed by an optional, but highly recommended, six-month personal deepening program. This unique teacher training enables a rich exploration into the art and science of transformation and awakening by offering a potent integration of the following: dedicated personal practice, academic study, spiritual inquiry, time in silence, time in nature, transformational journaling, daily puja and chanting, sound healing, wisdom teachings, and community sharing.A JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION
Using principles of transformation, this course is designed to take you on a journey into the depths of your being to discover the freedom and happiness that is your essential nature. As the program progresses we progressively explore subtler levels consciousness and gain tools to work on these new found levels of being. If one is sincere and courageous and open and determined, this journey will trigger a transformation process, and in doing so, awaken dormant potentials. The last days we resurface to explore how to skillfully integrate these discoveries into our daily life and how to live a life of great purpose and contribution.DISCOVER PRACTICES AND TOOLS FOR AWAKENING
Each week integrates four evening mini-courses (10 - 15 hrs each) that will provide students with practices and tools to awaken to new dimensions of being, and to gain a sense of power and freedom on each level. The evening courses are as follows:
Week 1: Self Inquiry - Discovering The Path to Freedom (with Justing Thomas)
Week 2: Subtle Practices - Discovering How to Move Energy (with Greg Kaps)
Week 3: Yin Yoga Therapy - Discovering The Mind Body Connection (with Tina Nance)
Week 4: Meditation - Discovering The Nature Of Consciousness ( with Jeff Warren)
A unique and important component of the One Yoga Training is the guided assimilation process that follows the training once you return home. The most common feedback from graduates of other teacher trainings is: 'I had this transformative experience in my immersion, but once i returned home, i felt alone, the insights were lost, and the depth of awareness disappeared". The reason is - to integrate the transformation process there are some other important ingredients: such as repetition of the practices, contemplating and integrating the insights , and feeling supported by a community who share your views and values.
The 6 month guided Living Yoga Program - has been designed using the principles of transformation to support graduates in assimilating the powerful insights that arose during the immersion. We stay connected as a community through a dedicated facebook page and private youtube channel. The sincerity of your participation in the Living Yoga Program will be reflected in a transformed life. Your life purpose will clarify. Your relationships become more conscious and empowering. You connect with a mutually inspiring conscious community, your day-to-day lifestyle choices contribute to the health and empowerment of your self and your world.YOU ARE FULLY SUPPORTED
Set in an idyllic tropical environment, nourished by the highest quality food; you will feel fully supported whether your intention is to deepen your practice, take time for self reflection and care, or to establish a solid foundation in teaching yoga. - To prepare students to be confident, knowledgable, and compassionate teachers should they choose to wear that hat.
- To cultivate a community of like-spirited community
Over the last 20 years, Tanya has passionately explored the process of spiritual integration and transformation through the lenses of both traditional eastern and modern western systems. She sought the thread that connects, the deeper universal wisdom they all shared, to bring them together to support people on their spiritual journey. She has teased out the common essential guiding teachings for spiritual transformation and delivers them through the platform of yoga.
Tanya teaches a powerful fusion that brings together the strengths of many systems to offer a unique, informed and potent approach to the practice. Students will graduate as competent and confident instructors of Hatha Yoga empowered with a depth of knowledge, clear guidance and practical tools and to support their yoga journey onward; both as student and as a teacher. One Yoga Teacher Training Requirements

This unique hatha yoga teacher training enables a rich exploration into the art & science of transformation & awakening &an optional 6 mo personal deepening
Daily yoga practice and self inquiry continued to be the consistent core of her exploration and primary source of insight. Her inquiry was supported and deepened by further study in western systems such as integral theory and transpersonal psychology and eastern systems such as Zen and Taoism which revealed an undeniable corroborative thread. Although language and techniques varied, all pointed to deep and universal underlying patterns of how human consciousness expands, how suffering stops, and how true and lasting happiness is found.
Tanya's Hatha practice began with Bikram's beginners yoga, and continued on to study Vinyasa, Power, Anusara, Yin and Restorative methods. Her practices deepened to include pranayama and meditation practices. In the past 5 years, the emphasis of her practices turned toward Jnana yoga. She continues to study the sacred texts including Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and listens to teachings of Vedanta from her teacher Swami Vagishananda.
Having studied through the lens of both Eastern and Western systems, and having partnered academic study with intense dedicated practice - she offers a rare and refined understanding that is both balanced and integrated. She has been teaching yoga internationally for 15 years. Her wisdom, expertise, and compassion opens hearts and minds as she shines an inspiring light on the universality of the human journey of awakening and the power of yoga to guide us home.

Rich in yogic philosophy and discipline, Greg’s classes are engaging and focused while keeping the energy light. His attention on breath and the flow of energy draws students into a deep state of concentration that allows for blissfulness. As students learn to identify with this blissful inner space, and grow their awareness of the body, mind, and emotions, it brings about a profound shift in physiology and consciousness. The result is equanimity in any situation – becoming less affected by the ups and downs of life.
Through the practice of yoga, Greg personally overcame physical, mental, and emotional challenges. He lives and experiences the blissful benefits of long time practice with a day to day attitude of peace, playfulness, inspiration, and devotion. Greg genuinely encourages others to have dedication and faith the yogic process, and trust that yoga can truly heal and bring peacefulness to any life.
Having practiced and taught yoga full-time for 10 years, his life is dedicated to humbly guiding others through their yogic journeys of self-realization. Greg spent many years traveling the world, studying in India and abroad with a wide range of teachers from globally recognized masters to spiritual gurus of different lineages. He has taught over 7,000 public classes, led international workshops, trainings, and maintains a devoted self practice and commitment to personal inquiry and growth.
Quoting the words of his teacher, Greg says, “Yoga should be sincere, not serious. Serious is from the mind, sincere is from the heart. If your heart is in it, then the universe will unfold to fulfill your dreams”. See more photos and other events by this presenter

In 2010, Jeff founded The Consciousness Explorers Club, a pan-contemplative adventure group in downtown Toronto whose mission is to rescue spiritual and meditation practice from dour fundamentalists of all persuasions. He writes: “At the CEC we approach practice in a spirit of openness and exploration and play in order to deepen our understanding of self and world. We don’t push worldviews; we investigate them. Our ambition is global; our community is local. We sit, we dance, we act. We fall asleep during long lectures. We wake up refreshed!”
Jeff and his work are the subject of a recent profile in Maclean’s magazine. See more photos and other events by this presenter
