Ulpotha
Ulpotha, referred to as "The best Yoga retreat in the world" by the Observer Magazine, is a beautiful private jungle hideaway open part of the year which has come to be known worldwide as an eco friendly, vegan Yoga retreat that offers Ayurveda. It is an enchanting place that sprinkles its magic dust on those who are lucky enough to simply 'be' in Ulpotha. In the winter and summer months internationally renowned yoga teachers lead holiday retreats at Ulpotha to help you get away from it all, and deeply nurture your mind, body and spirit. There is no aspiration in Ulpotha to be anything other than what it is - a lovely folly. The founders and villagers welcome you to enjoy Ulpotha in this spirit.

James DeMaria
One of Ibiza's top yoga teachers, James DeMaria has been teaching yoga to adults and kids for over 20 years.
Before coming to Yoga, James trained as a professional dancer at the Central School of Ballet in London and completed his diploma at the London Contemporary Dance School. He spent his final year expanding his awareness of release technique attending classes with the Siobhan Davis Dance company, under the guidance of Larren Potter, Gill Clarke and Paul Douglas. During this time James also studied Pilates with Alan Herdman.
After a varied and international performance career, James began studying Astanga Vinyasa Yoga. Eventually this personal passion led to teaching and a deeper enquiry into the many facets of Yoga as a road to freedom, harmony and good health.
Using a choreographic background to break down the fluidity between postures, breath & movement, James combines elements of dance, Pilates and Release Technique to create a balanced style to suit all levels. As we begin to focus inward and forget the outer world, habitual patterns of being & thinking are transformed, leaving us to live in freedom without the limitations of our minds.
Classses include breathing techniques and Mudras to help circulation and the distribution of Prana (life force) throughout our being, relaxation & meditation techniques. The practice of Yoga postures according to one's ability.
