Asilomar Conference GroundsAsilomar offers charming, rustic accommodations perfect for anyone dedicated to rest and reflection. In keeping with this tradition, guest rooms are free of modern-day distractions such as telephones and televisions. Our Historic Rooms are located in buildings designed by renowned architect Julia Morgan and built between 1913 and 1928, and feature the charms of hardwood floors and rustic furnishings, along with private baths. Our more contemporary Asilomar Rooms are available with patios, balconies and cozy fireplaces.
All lodging rooms have private baths, and many buildings feature common living rooms appointed with fireplaces and inviting overstuffed chairs. For groups, every effort is made to accommodate attendees just a short walk through vibrant dunes to the group's meeting room. The dining hall is centrally located on the grounds.
Historic Rooms are located in buildings that were designed by architect Julia Morgan and built between 1913 and 1928. Each room features hardwood floors, rustic California furnishings and private baths – and their size and quantity of beds vary from one single bed to two double beds. All of the historic lodging buildings have a common living room, with a fireplace, for lounging and reading.
Several of the Asilomar Room types are located in buildings designed by architect John Carl Warnecke and built in a style complementary to that of Julia Morgan's. Asilomar Rooms are more contemporary than the Historic Rooms and include a private bathroom and shower. Some also have a patio or balcony, and some feature a fireplace. Size and quantity of beds vary in rooms, but the most common combinations are: two double beds; one double and one single bed; one queen and one single bed; or four single beds. Our retreats are one of a kind and located at the renowned Asilomar resort in Pacific Grove California. As our guest, you will enjoy everything the resort has to offer while every detail is taken care of for you.
On Saturday morning begin your day with sunrise yoga on the beach.
Then join us for one hour Wellness Workshops presented by our Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches. You will learn how to:
- reduce stress, relax, and rejuvenate your health
- pick foods; it’s important to love food that loves you back
- listen to what your body is trying to tell you
With these tools, you’ll have the roadmap and knowledge to take back your health!
Saturday evening after the workshops you’ll have various activities to choose from. You can gather in the Social hall for pool, or at the small firepit for conversation. Or you can stroll the beach and enjoy the sunset.

Her attention to detail and love of event planning results from her thirty years of service in the travel and hospitality industry. She retired early with one intention: the pursuit of her own health and well-being-which had begun to suffer. Just one year later, she overcame chronic illnesses, lost over seventy pounds and reenergized her life. Debbi an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, is determined to see others succeed and regain their health in the same way. Out of this strong desire to help others, The New Self-Health Movement has become the realization of that dream.
