All attendees will be trained by staff upon arrival to support Hawksbill nesting activities within the estuary. It is not necessary to speak Spanish; there will be translators available and some project staff can speak English.
Our volunteer work while on this TentSurf will mostly consist of observing the shore for nesting hawksbill turtles, measuring and tagging them, helping with egg collection, and moving eggs to incubation. We will be working mostly in the evenings, with some options to assist on early morning boat patrols.
