Swaying palm trees and silk flags fluttering in the sky ... a yoga retreat surrounded by paddy fields abundant with tropical birdlife, Yogamagic is an oasis of peace just two kilometres from the golden beaches of North Goa. Rejuvenate mind, body and spirit. Our aim is to ease you back to nature without compromising on luxury.
Sleep close to the elements in luxury spacious en-suite tented eco-chic lodges.
Colourful saris drape the elevated palm fringed roofs keeping the lodges cool, whilst a private veranda has sunset views and lean back chairs for daydreaming, star gazing or moon bathing.
The day starts early morning with chai or ground organic coffee delivered to your veranda, followed by morning yoga and meditation in the light airy yoga shala.
After morning yoga, breakfast on as much fresh tropical fruit as you can eat, with home-made buffalo curd, wild honey and wholesome muesli. If you're still hungry follow up with a cooked dish; eggs or a local puri bhaji ... juices, lassis and shakes, fresh organic coffee and teas. The food here is delicious, much of it home grown and organic.
Following a long leisurely breakfast relax by the pool, explore the lush tropical gardens or treat yourself to a transformative ayurvedic massage with highly recommended on-site masseur Vishnu.
Alternatively explore further afield. The beach is just a 5 minute taxi or rickshaw ride away. Inland, the fertile hills and valleys are studded with colourful temples and grand churches depicting the rich and diverse cultural heritage. Adventuring is safe and simple and local people are both friendly and helpful.
In the late afternoon we get together again for yoga asana, meditation and mantra before enjoying a mouth-watering dinner of exotic vegetarian east-meets-west thalis or banana leaf spreads bursting with flavours.
Yoga will be taught twice every day except one day mid-retreat, which will be left free for you to explore the delights of Goa or relax in the resort.
