The Field Retreat

The Field Retreat is an old French farmhouse and smallholding, re-furbished as a beautiful and tranquil retreat space.
There are simple rooms for up to 8 or 10 persons and lots of extra space for camping.
There is a guest kitchen if you like to cook yourself, and also the possibility to have vegan food made for you by our wonderful vegan chef.
We have a plunge pool and will soon have a beautiful natural pool also.
There are gardens with fruit trees and a vegetable patch with - weather permitting - lots of fresh vegetables and herbs.
There is a breathtaking view out over the countryside from almost everywhere on the property and plenty of cosy nooks to sit and relax and be one with nature. The whole farm has an amazing feeling of peace and tranquility.

If you are up for exploring, there is plenty to do close by, including canoeing, castles, markets, basket weaving, wine tasting, tree adventures, walks, swimming, a maze and a zip-line.
There are cafe's, banks, a post office, two small supermarkets and a tiny french cinema at the local village, which is only 10 mins drive away.

The Field Retreat runs its' own retreats, and is open to others wishing to rent the space to host their own retreats or artists workshops.

We are able to run residency weeks for artists that need some peace and quiet to work and have a yoga/pilates/dance studio available on site. There will soon be a much larger second studio space also.
If you have an idea for a themed retreat, don't hesitate to ask.
