From the earliest times in recorded history the cedar has been considered a sacred tree. It has been a symbol of peace, anointing, perfect faith and preservation. Evergreen is a reminder of everlasting life. The Cherokee people who once inhabited these hills of North Georgia used cedar in their sacred ceremonies. The tree was a symbol of ancient wisdom.
