Venue Description

The Mystical Yoga Farm is a unique place that offers a special opportunity to live on the land and with nature, as you take rest from your everyday life and immerse yourself in the practice of yoga. The Yoga Farm is a secluded, private property only accessible by boat. It sits at the base of a volcano and is surrounded by magical forests and healing waters. We are an Eco-Rustico Retreat Center that is off the grid; utilizing filtered water, composting toilets, solar hot water and solar electricity. All of our food is vegetarian and prepared with loving hands. Our humble vegetable garden nourishes us as often as possible while the rest of our food comes from the local farmers of our neighboring villages. We share two main meals per day, with a light snack at lunch time. We have a variety of sleeping accommodations, including four newly built private rooms, two private cabins on the upper land, two private waterside cabins in the lower land, two open shared dormitory cabins, one large attic dormitory, camping options, and a floating boat house. We share our meals in the Rancho and practice in a new-built Yoga Shala with breath-taking views of the Lake on which we live and the volcanoes across the water. Meditation occurs on the dock as we watch the sunrise over the volcano. This place is a rare gem, a peaceful oasis like nothing experienced before; perfect for the inward journey you seek to embark on. As well as being the perfect location for contemplation during your teacher training, the farm shares its beauty in many ways during your free time: from gardening and coffee picking, to swimming in the cool waters of the lake and sauna in our traditional wood-fired temascal, from feeding the chickens and stirring the compost, to volcano hikes and local village trips. Whether you prefer adventure or simply relaxing in a hammock with a book from our spectacular conscious library, the Mystical Yoga Farm is the perfect location to let go of all of your daily responsibilities. You are invited to step into the quiet stillness of mother nature, allowing her to nourish you and guide you back to the home in your heart.
