Angie Beadle Bio
I began studying yoga at 16 with my mother. During this time it helped me stay (relatively!) calm and centred during the turbulent teenage years.
At 18, I left England for Africa and went on to spend a large part of the following 15 years traveling the world….From the jungles of South America and the hills of New Zealand to the plains of Africa I practised and studied taking inspiration from my surroundings and the inspiring people I met on my journey.
I qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher at 21, making me the youngest Iyengar teacher in the UK at that time.
I spent time studying at the renowned Iyengar institute in Pune, India and went on to open and run the first Iyengar Yoga Centre in Sevilla, Spain. Since then I have left the Iyengar association and created my own style of yoga.
I am a registered SYT (Senior Yoga teacher) with yoga alliance uk.
I take my inspiration from a number of wonderful teachers but mainly from my wide range of incredible students…… ranging from children and teenagers to experienced Yogis and teachers.
In 2012, along with Jo Elvin, I created a yoga style especially for teenagers – Yoga Rebels. I continue to train teachers in this style, bringing yoga to hundreds of teenagers throughout schools in London and the home counties. For more information.
My style is fun and challenging yet precise and thorough.
