Ila Edgar, Founder | Coach | Connector Bio
As Founder of Big Change, Ila currently works with organizations to develops leaders’ skills so they can foster innovation, creativity and collaboration in their teams and their organizations. With Ila’s natural curiosity and relationship building, she is able to connect quickly with others, inspiring individuals to step into leadership roles.She completed her coach training at the University of Calgary. She has a Masters Certificate in Social Media, from the University of San Francisco. She is an avid learner and is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate (CDWF-Candidate) an experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, with a primary focus on transforming the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
Ila is currently serving as the Director, External Relations, on the Board of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Calgary Charter Chapter. She also volunteers her time and talent with various not-for profit groups, helping under-represented women gain confidence in their ability to secure meaningful employment.
She’s mom to a 9-year-old son, who is her greatest teacher.
