Indradyumna Swami Bio
Indradyumna Swami is a disciple of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder-acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) since 1971, a renounced traveling monk, and a guru or spiritual teacher in the Chaitanya Vaishnava tradition.
Each year Indradyumna Swami circles the globe teaching the message of the Bhagavad-gita and introducing hundreds of thousands of people to kirtan chanting of the Hare Krishna maha mantra. For over two decades, he has been organizing the annual summer Festival of India tour on the Polish Baltic coast and the Krishna’s Village of Peace in Woodstock which are attended by over 750,000 people every year. In recent years, Indradyumna Swami has taken his tour to other countries such as Ireland, Hong Kong, Australia and Brazil and plans to take it to more countries such as Italy and India in the upcoming years. An avid photographer and writer, Indradyumna Swami shares his experiences and realizations as a traveling monk in a journal titled The Diary of a Traveling Monk as well as through Facebook.
