In this four-week Yoga Teacher Training you will be learning the correct way of Yoga practices like why and how of Asanas, breathing techniques, Meditation, their benefits, indications and contraindications. Ancient Yoga techniques (Yogic Kriyas), Yoga lifestyle, food habits and ethics, Human biology in relevance to Yoga. Teaching methodology and as well ancient Yoga philosophy in relation to the modern world scenario.
The program is an intensive four-week course, 6 days per week, 6-7 hours per day. You will be learning Hatha Yoga mainly, however, teacher also will introduce you of other styles of yoga which will be also practiced during the course.
Master Ravindra is a passionate, dynamic, innovative and inspirational yoga teacher who brings his energy, humor and philosophy to every class he teaches. He believes in making yoga a holistic discipline. His yogic practice and teachings aims at attaining sound mental health, physical rejuvenation and spiritual blissfulness.
He has been born and brought up the foothills of Himalayas in a town called Haridwar. It was here where he was inspired by the teachings of ‘Swami Sivananda’ and the blessings of’ Swami Chidananda ji’.
Master Ravindra first professional training started with Yoga Guru ‘BKS Iyengar’ at Yoga International Week in Rishikesh in the year 1991. Then he began his Yoga Practice under the able guidance of ‘Shri Swami Achyutananda Teerthji Maharaj’, a Dandi Swami from Haridwar and grasped the intricate nuances of Yoga under the auspicious teachings of ‘Shri Sanjay Brahmachari ji’.
Besides learning within the Gurukul Parampara he completed his formal Education by earning himself a PG Diploma and a Masters’ degree in Human Consciousness and Yogic Sciences. He was awarded for being an outstanding student at the yoga teacher’s training course by Sivananda Insitute of Vedanta- Yoga Academy.
Master Ravindra worked as a yoga therapist at hospitals and ayurvedic panchkarma centers. Besides that, he has taught traditional Indian Yoga to the yoga aspirants of various nationalities at Rishikesh (Yoga Capital of the world).
Currently he concentrates on teaching the trainers and practitioners’ from all over the world focusing on Hatha Yoga and Patanjali Yoga (also known as Raja yoga or Ashtanga Yoga). He loves travelling and has imparted Yoga training in India and abroad extensively.
He believes that yoga is a kinetic process, involving every living cell. He encourages students to explore their own inner energy and to listen inside to their own authentic way of moving, in order to open to the profound feelings of vitality, empowerment and ease.
